Google's big hardware event is coming October 9 , and we're getting a clearer picture of what to expect from the show as the days go by. The event is promoted as the "Pixel 3 launch event," but the company's previous two hardware events featured five or more product announcements. Besides the Pixel 3, a Pixelbook 2 is a good option, and with the launch of Google's Smart Display software on third-party hardware earlier this year, it seems inevitable that we'll soon see a first-party Google Smart Display.
As luck would have it, today MySmartPrice has scored pictures of the...

In short: Official press renders of the still-unannounced Google Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL have now reportedly been leaked to NieuweMobiel via an unnamed source. The new images show the Android handsets side-by-side and encased in gray protective shells bearing the traditional Google “G” logo. Some similarities between the two, such as the dual front-facing cameras, stereo speakers at both the top and bottom, and a single camera at the back along with an LED flash and fingerprint scanner. Button placement is also the same on each handset, positioned along the left-hand-side. Meanwhile, the...

5 monthes ago - By Tech Radar
Google will formally unveil its Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL phones on October 9, but that's not stemming the flow of leaks. Not at all. Today's Pixel 3 leak includes a set of alleged press images, and it looks... pretty much how we were expecting. We can't verify them, of course, but the photos depict both standard and large versions of the phone - and if they're to be believed, the bigger model will come with an iPhone XS -like notch cut out on the top. Otherwise, this confirms a lot of the earlier leaks , including a single rear-facing camera and dual front-facing lenses as well as bottom...

Mozilla has released the first version of its VR web browser, Firefox Reality. Version 1.0 is available now for Oculus and Google Daydream, and the company says version 1.1 is just around the corner. Much as the desktop and mobile Firefox browsers can be expanded by user-created extensions, Firefox Reality can be enhanced with third-party immersive experiences, including games and experiments, which can be...

5 monthes ago - By Phone Arena
October 9 is the day Google is holding its annual hardware event. There, it will undoubtedly be the upcoming Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL that take center stage. But the company does have a few other products up its sleeves, including a new display-bearing smart speaker.
Set to be sold under the Google Home Hub branding, the internet giant's latest smart speaker is set to act as a direct competitor to Amazon's Echo Show and Lenovo's Smart Display. This is due to a large 7-inch touchscreen that will be included. As with other Smart Displays, the Home Hub will center around its Google Assistant ...
