    Sony revealed the exact deployment dates of Android 9 Pie updates to select Xperia devices earlier this week. According to the smartphone manufacturer, the Xperia XZ Premium, XZ1, and XZ1 Compact will receive the operating system upgrade starting October 26, while the Xperia XZ2 Premium will get the software update on November 7. Aside from the company's flagships, Sony will also deploy Android 9 Pie to three mid-range handsets - the Xperia XA2, XA2 Ultra, and XA2 Plus, starting March 4.
