    Just two days after the pre-order period for Apple's iPhone XS, XS Max, and Apple Watch Series 4 commenced, analyst Ming-Chi Kuo is back with his latest report, this time providing an insight into how the company's new products are performing.
    Starting off on a slightly less positive note, Kuo claims that pre-orders for the regular iPhone XS have been “lower-than-expected.” This is presumably due to a lack of external changes and new features in comparison to last year's iPhone X.     The larger edge-to-edge screen on the Apple Watch Series 4 allows Apple to cram as many as eight complications at one time on the watch face. The device, which will launch on September 21st running watchOS 5 out of the box, will also feature some new watch faces that take advantage of the expanded real estate on the timepiece.

    Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has issued a research note today, obtained by MacRumors, outlining his opinions about first-weekend pre-orders for the iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, and Apple Watch Series 4.
    Kuo says Apple Watch Series 4 pre-orders have been "better than expected," as a result of new innovative functions, such as electrocardiogram support. He predicts Apple Watch shipments will reach 18 million units in 2018, with the Series 4 lineup accounting for 50 to 55 percent of those orders.

    Apple announced its flagship iPhone lineup of iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, and iPhone XR to a generally mixed reception. Ming-Chi Kuo says that the XS preorders are ‘lackluster', but believes in the strength of XS Max demand and the iPhone XR launch in October.
    He also noted that TF Industries are raising estimates for Apple Watch Series 4, with the new models taking about 55% share, alongside the cheaper Series 3 watches .
