    Last month it was reported that during the Game Awards, Mortal Kombat 11 could be announced. Given that Mortal Kombat X was announced in 2015, we suppose it does feel like it is as good a time as any to announce a sequel. If you're a fan of the franchise, then you'll be happy to learn that the rumors are true. The game was officially announced with the release of the trailer, which in Mortal Kombat tradition, is still as gory as ever.
