• Valve's Steam Link App Is Now Available For iPhone, iPad, Apple TV

9 days ago - By Ubergizmo

Last year, Valve announced the Steam Link app for mobile devices. It sounded like a great app but unfortunately, Apple had rejected the app claiming that it had violated their guidelines. The good news is that it seems that Valve did not give up trying to get the app approved, and for iOS and Apple TV gamers, it looks like the Steam Link app is finally available...

Valve's ‘Steam Link' App Finally Approved and Available on the Apple App Store

9 days ago - By Touch Arcade

Here's the last thing in the world I was expecting to write today: Valve's Steam Link app, which allows you to stream the games from your Steam library to your iOS devices, is now available for free in the App Store. Why is that surprising? Well the saga of all of 2018 was Valve trying to release Steam Link on the App Store and Apple continually rejecting it. They originally announced Steam Link and Steam Video coming to iOS and Android just over a year ago, in May of last year. Steam Link for iOS is now available for download via App Store and enables Steam users to play their games on their mobile devices while connected to their computers.
You just need to pair an MFI or Steam controller to your device, ...

Valve's Steam Link app, which is designed to let you play Steam games on your iPhone, iPad , or Apple TV has finally made its way to iOS and is available for download as of today.
Valve first announced the Steam Link app in May 2018 and planned to launch it soon after, but Apple ended up rejecting the app due to "business conflicts."
Though Valve argued that Steam Link was similar to other remote desktop-based apps that provide access to a PC or Mac, Apple refused to budge and did not allow Valve to release Steam Link until now.
Apple's marketing chief Phil Schiller said in 2018 that Apple...
